This is a portal for an ancient hunger.
I am an observer of both portal and hunger.
I see it this way: that a brown calf emerging from the tunnel was sent to you by a lover, not a fighter.
That a lover, not a fighter, delivers livestock for your impossible feast.
And crawls back into the underground equation. The air is thin down there.
I see it this way; that a lover wants to feed the hunger and a fighter is simply hungry.
